Someone had to (no more font flipping)🧉

a weekly(-ish) newsletter on websites, workflows, writing & getting paid

Happy Reader—

I've been elbows-deep in website template-building, back-to-school shopping, and the random late summer yard project (whyyyyyy did inspo hit when we're literally melting outside).

Honestly? I thought I’d be done with this template shop by now. My self-imposed launch date came and went. Twice.

Surprisingly, I’m totally okay with it. I’ve got multiple 1:1 clients in different stages of brand-building. It’s summer. I’ve got five kids at home. Family vacations happened. And now I’m putting on my volunteer hat and spirit shirts as we shift into the next season.

Butttttt there is one other (huge) reason why the template shop isn't done yet.

It has quickly gone from a “hey, wouldn’t passive income be great?” idea...
...to a full-on If You Give a Mouse a Cookie situation...
...to a deep, mission-driven question: How can I serve small business owners in a way no one else is—at a price anyone can afford?

As I’ve been building and researching, I’ve realized how much is missing from the template shops out there.

If you’re getting this email (thank you), know that I consider you my test kitchen.

You’re getting sneak peeks, free tastes, and honest behind-the-scenes updates—because if you trust me with your inbox, I want to make it worth your while.

Which brings me to this week’s update.

While working on the branding section of the shop, I realized: my people need font pairings that don’t require 72 open tabs and a minor breakdown to figure out.

Most of my clients use Squarespace. Almost all of them use Canva. And yet... there’s no official list of which fonts are native to both. 🤯

So I made one.

👉 Click here to grab my FREE Font Pairing Guide for Squarespace & Canva 👈

It’s a curated collection of my favorite 72 fonts found in both PLUS 20 combos that actually look good together.

🧠 Want the nerdier scoop on why fonts matter (and how to use them for SEO-smart headings)?

a weekly(-ish) newsletter on websites, workflows, writing & getting paid Summer’s officially here, Reader!
